What's the difference between Giorgio Armani and Armani Exchange?

I know that Giorgio Armani is like more expensive. But why is that so?|||they are two separate entities. one has nothing to do w/ the other. Armani Exchange is an american designed sportswear line. while Armani black label and Armani Colleczioni are designed by Giorgio Armani, the man, in Italy.|||Giorgio Armani is the premiere line. It's couture. A|X is a basics line and is only in the U.S.|||Armani Exchange is discount Armani. Items are lower priced with a supposedly less quality, and the items are not made in Italy. Both are still technically under the same brand but, in short, Armani Exchange is like a discount outlet.
