Is there anything wrong with wearing a Giorgio Armani tux to wedding when you are just a guest?

It is generally accepted that no one upstage the bride or groom.

Find out what he is wearing.

Peace.|||If it is a formal/black tie event, a tux is not out of place. However, if this is your average wedding, a tuxedo worn by a guest may be too much as you will be over dressed. Regardless, a well dressed man is never ignored by me!!

EDIT: to your additional details. Yes, it is generally frowned upon if you are better dressed than the groomsmen and the groom himself. Unless you are positive this is a black tie event, wear something other than a tux.|||What does the invitation say? Is it formal or black tie event? If so, a tux would be fine. If not, you would seem overdressed. The clothes of the bride, groom and wedding party generally set the dress code for the rest of the wedding. If they are dressed casually, so should you.|||Of course it's frowned upon to be better dressed than the groom. Just like it's frowned upon for a woman to wear white. It's a formal event but I don't think I've ever seen a guest in a tux. Just wear a suit.|||Generally, you don't want to wear anything that overshadows the couple getting married. So if the groom and groomsmen are also in Armani or better, you're ok. If not...pick something a little less flashy.|||No one is going to know it's an Armani unless you tell them or walk around with a label hanging out. Anyone with a good eye will be able to tell it's good, well made suit and that's about it.|||Unless it's a formal/black tie event a tux will be out of place.

You shouldn't upstage the wedding party.
